In the park, I witnessed my master practicing Tai Chi for the first time. The movements were as smooth as clouds and as free as water, which fascinated me deeply. Difficulty in getting started

Practicing Tai Chi is quite challenging, especially the most basic starting point, I always don’t do well enough. The master worked hard to correct my movements carefully, but sometimes my hands were raised too high and sometimes my feet were unable to stand firmly. Every time I practice repeatedly, I feel frustrated and my mood becomes impatient. I am really worried that I will not be able to learn this seemingly simple but actually profound Tai Chi.

When I wanted to give up, the master's words gave me strength and made me muster up the courage again. I told myself that I cannot give up easily. So, I used my spare time to practice unremittingly, leaving behind my hard work whether in the park or in the open space in the community. Every time I fall, I get up again, and every mistake in correcting the movement is training my will. I made up my mind to persevere.

After a period of hard training, my movements gradually became standardized. During the execution of each movement, I could feel the subtle adjustments of my body, my breathing became smoother, and my mood became calmer. Whenever I complete a complete set of Tai Chi movements, a sense of accomplishment arises in my heart, just like in this small action world, I found a world of my own.

Deep insight

After continuous training, I have more and more experienced the principle of hardness and softness complement each other and yin and yang live in harmony in Tai Chi. Life is like Tai Chi, sometimes with twists and turns, sometimes with calmness, and movement and stillness alternate. Practicing Tai Chi can not only strengthen physical fitness, but also exercise your spirit. This experience has taught me to stay calm and move forward bravely when facing difficulties.
